The PAS2 Catalyst Grants are designed to advance the research and educational missions of the Pan-American Society for the Placenta Accreta Spectrum. The rising incidence of Placenta Accreta Spectrum (PAS) and its associated maternal and infant morbidities have brought us together to improve the lives of families impacted by this disruptive condition. Progress in the field of PAS is critically dependent upon discovering answers through collaborative science and sharing the findings to train our next generation of PAS care teams. The PAS2 Board is eager to provide seed funding for research and educational projects that will advance these missions.
Examples for utilization may include (but are not limited to) statistical analysis fees, purchase of reagents, materials for simulation sessions, audio-visual lab rental time for creation of multimedia teaching tools, materials for community outreach events, or other reasonable ideas limited only by your imagination! Anticipated maximum award amount is approximately $5000, though the PAS2 Selection Committee will carefully evaluate viability of any submission with adequate budget justification. Please note this award does not pay institutional indirect costs nor personnel salary support.
